Starbucks aims to open 50 outlets in India by year's end, through a 50-50 joint venture with Tata Global Beverages. This venture is known as Tata Starbucks Ltd. India is known for its "chai-drinkers", but certain demographics are changing their preferences by indulging themselves in dose of caffeine. And this particular metamorphosis is because of the rising number of coffee outlets opened up in India. Will Starbucks pull their TG out from CCD, Barista, Costa Coffee etc? This can be considered as a crucial issue that the brand might face, but then the unpredictable India always likes imitating the West. So, buying a Starbucks will be more like a "Awesome time with Friends-- at Starbucks, Oberoi Mall", a style statement. Whatever the reason might be, there are people who are waiting for the brand to arrive. And it is. 


Lets welcome it with warmth, and get high on a dose of "Starbucks" coffee. :)


1st Launches in Mumbai: Oberoi Mall in Goregaon East, Horniman Circle and Ceejay House in Worli. Later it expands to New Delhi & Bengaluru.
